"What Is Love"

                                             (A Villanelle Poem)

Born from ideas that had faith in intent, but limited vision.

Moving boldly forward, with the recklessness of a storm astray.

Finding shameful verdicts in its journey, that prompts altering decisions.

How long will your house stand, as you separate from your religion?

No authority have stood true, regardless of its roots or desired embrace.

Born from ideas that had faith, in its intent, but limited vision.

What will you claim differently that will refute your destined collision?

Who shall be your redeemer as you claim victory even in error’s trough?

Finding shameful verdicts in its journey, that prompts altering decisions.

You learned that the masses are to be led and without permission.

Your saber has lain to rest many souls that your path be cleared.

Born from the ideas that had faith in intent, but limited vision.

Wisdom has found its way that amends have seeped into some incisions.

Long will be the road that places your throne above reproach.

Finding shameful verdicts in its journey, that prompts altering decisions.

As you struggle to justify your performance where truth sits in judgment,

Allow your hands to be opened wide that your life lines can be seen clear.

Born from the ideas that had faith in intent, but limited vision.

Finding shameful verdicts in its journey, that prompts altering decisions©

Louise Page Felder , Montgomery, Alabama departed this life on August 12, 2007 at the age of 74.

Louise Page was born in Dozier, Alabama to the late Ezra Page and Ella Lee Freeney.  Louise departed this life on August 12, 2007 at the age of 74.  She was the 9th of 13 children.  Preceding her in death were - Otis, Johnny, Maggie Lee, Zora Mae, Nelson, Queen Esther, Joe Louis, and Minnie Muriel.

Louise married Dolie Felder  and to this union 10 children were born.  As a young woman, Louise came to know the Lord as her personal saviour and was filled and baptized with the Holy Ghost and fire.  In spite of life circumstances, she became one who lived life by example.  She was known to say that "we have all come short and made mistakes."  She would also say that she was most thankful to God for answering her prayers.  She worshipped at The Rock Church for the past ten years and was a member there until her death.

Louise received her GED, went to nursing school, cosmetology school and sewing school to become a Licensed LPN, a Licensed Cosmetologist, and a Seamstress.  All of this was done as a young wife and mother.  Over the years, she used her talents and gifts to bless her family and others.

Louise was known as "Blue" from childhood because of one blue eye.  She was affectionately nicknamed Go-Go and Roadrunner by her grand children and adopted families.  The nicknames agreed with Louise who had a caring and loving spirit.  At the drop of a hat, Louise would hop into her car and go wherever she was needed.

Louise leaves to mourn a devoted and loving husband Dolie Felder, Sr., ten children - Joann , Barbara , Charles , Samuel, Dolie, Jr., Willie, Patricia, Annie, Tine, and Linda.  Four siblings of 13 are left to carry on, her brother, James ,  Sisters - Mary, Lola, and Annie.  A devoted sister-in-law, Clemmie, two brothers-in-law - Charlie,  and George.  She also leaves 45 grand children, 32 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Dolie Felder, Sr,  was born in Montgomery, Al to the late Willie Felder and Doshie Myrick on July 5, 1929.  Dolie departed this life in January 20, 2009 at the age of 79 in the comfort of  his home.. He was preceded in death by this brother Samuel Lee Felder and his wife of 50 years Louise Page Felder.

To their union was born 10 children, 5 girls and 5 boys.  In his youth, he was a member of Mt. Moriah A.M.E. Zion Church and later in life he received Christ as his Lord and Savior, and joined the HOuse of God Church Montgomery, Al.

As a young man his favorite pass time was baseball (Atlanta Braves), fishing, hunting, reading comic books, playing dominoes with  his children or anyone who would dare take him on.
After working briefly with the Montgomery Airport, he was employed by  the late Mr. and Mrs Tine Wayne Davis for 44 years and continued to have a loving relationship with their children Dianne, Tionna and Wayne.  Then he worked for Mr. and Mrs. Owen Aronov until his health failed..  They were all faithful to him.

Anyone knowing Dolie knew that the was a very, very, very insistent about punctuality.  In fact he was known to show up as much as an hour and a half early for appointments, work, or any occasion.  His word was his bond and he expected yours to be as well.  Before there were remote controls, his children was his remote controls.  Later the remote control became an attachment to his h and, which made his children and grandkids very happy..
